Recently began accepting files at “ftp://ftp.imicrobe.us” for missing data sets. If you find you need to add or update your projects files, please feel free to FTP as “anonymous” and place your data into our “/incoming” directory. Notify us (email@example.com), and we’ll gladly update our database.
Also, we have copied all the data from “http://mirrors.iplantcollaborative.org/browse/iplant/home/shared/imicrobe/projects” to our FTP site to make it easier for researchers to browse and download data.
Lastly, just before the ASLO meeting in Spain, we added a new Samples Metadata Search that allows for the aggregation of over 170 metadata constraints to find samples. For example, you can filter by equatorial regions (latitude between, perhaps, -20 and 20), oxygen content, and salinity. And then you can view those samples on a map. We hope you will find this tool useful, and we welcome feedback on how to improve it.
